Friday 10th June 2011!

The Irish Youth Foundation is proud to host its 18th Annual Bloomsday Messenger Bike Rally & Lunch in association with Cyclone Couriers to celebrate James Joyce’s Bloomsday and Dublin in the rare old times.

We are delighted to offer you the opportunity to take part in this unique event, to entertain your guests in traditional Joycean style and support the work of the Irish Youth Foundation.

Our Bloomsday 2011 event promises to be as worthwhile and as much fun as ever. Enjoy the atmosphere and the buzz of anticipation by joining over 70 Joycean cyclists as we set off on our journey through the streets of Dublin.

What's it all About

The Lord Mayor will set us on our way from the steps of the
Mansion House and join us in a rendition of ‘Molly Malone’. The bicycles will ring-a-ring and the hooters will honk as our Edwardian ladies and gentlemen set off to continue their tour of Dublin, enjoying some leisurely stops at friendly public houses for drinks and nibbles en route back to the historic Dining Hall in Trinity College Dublin.

Join in the excitement as some 250 colorful lunchers welcome the rally to our final destination, the impressive Dining Hall in Trinity College, to enjoy a well- deserved lunch.

Enter into the spirit of Bloomsday with friends and colleagues, enjoy the entertainment and have some fun with our charity auction and raffle.
