“. . . we also know that there are some things we can't do on our own. We know that there are some things we do better together.”
Barack Obama
In 2008, The Irish Youth Foundation, with your financial support, helped more than 10,000 children, young people and their families. The funding we receive from corporates/ companies is critical if we are to continue supporting over 300 projects around the country. (About us)
If you are interested in working with the Irish Youth Foundation we can discuss a tailored partnership designed to fit your particular needs and level of commitment. We are open to new ideas and new ways to support your corporate objectives.
Direct Support
Our unique approach of supporting children and young people’s programmes, at grass roots level, ensures your donation goes to the children who, with a little help right now, can realise their true potential.
If your company would like to support a specific area or type of project we will work with you to achieve this. Contact: .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)
Event Sponsorship
The Irish Youth Foundation has a calendar of high profile events which are ideal for corporate sponsorship. If you would like to talk to us about tailoring an event to fit your organisation or brand objectives – please contact Sabina on 01 6719009.
Staff Volunteering
Team building with a purpose. Each year 300 volunteers are required to work on our Children’s Hour campaign and other similar events. Many of these volunteers come to us as the staff from our corporate partners who are passionate about supporting our work for disadvantaged children and young people. If you or any of your staff would like to get involved please contact Sabina on 01-6719009 or at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)

Children’s Hour
We have raised nearly €4million with our Children’s Hour campaign - it's simple to implement and hundreds of companies of all sizes have already joined. Here’s how it works:
Staff can participate on a voluntary basis, during December or January payroll (whatever suits you best). Whoever chooses to join in gives an hour of their pay which is deducted from their salary by the payroll department in your company. The company then forwards the proceeds to The Irish Youth Foundation.

Children’s Hour Payroll contributions
Staff can give an hour every week or month through direct debit from their pay cheque. Employees decide how much they wish to donate and donations of €250 or over a year (that's €21 a month or €4.85 a week) are now eligible for tax relief under the 2001 Finance Act so we also receive a tax rebate on your donation. Please complete the attached form if you wish to allow The Irish Youth Foundation to claim back tax and return to The Irish Youth Foundation, 35 Exchequer Street, Dublin 2.

Denim Day
Denim Day, Friday 25th September, is a fundraising event organised by the Irish Youth Foundation. Now in its fourteenth year, we invite all employees and students to prove they have generosity in their genes by wearing denim for the day. Just make a EUR 2 donation, let loose, and do it your way on Denim Day!

Big Thank You to our current supporters
"We’re supporting Irish kids that need our help. Collectively as a company we can make a big difference to the lives of kids who have suffered violence, poverty, abuse, anguish and pain on our own door step. There’s a feel good factor in taking part - a sense of ‘giving back’ to society…If we won’t help our own kids, who will? They’re a vulnerable group that is dependent on our help"
