Results of Starbucks Realising Potential Programme announced!
The Irish Youth Foundation are delighted to announce the results of the Starbucks Realising Potential programme, an exciting new pilot venture funded by Starbucks which gives young people in Dublin the opportunity to make their ideas for change a reality.
Starbucks awarded financial grants and volunteer hours to teams of young people in Dublin, who had big ideas about how to improve their local communities. These grants will help the groups, whose members are aged between 15 and 19, turn their ideas into real change that will benefit the areas in which they live.
Starbucks Realise Your Potential
Thanks to everyone who participated in the Starbucks Realise Your Potential ideas workshop on Thurs 1st July. The day was a huge success thanks to the enthusiasm, energy and commitment of everyone who attended!
The purpose of the workshop was to help applicants to the programme build on their BIG ideas for improving their communities. This was done through a mixture of Play, Planning and Pitch preparation.
Applicants were also treated to some valuable words of advice from Irish Youth Foundation President Bill Cullen.
