So interesting to hear from the perspective of a young person from Ballyfermot his experience of getting involved in crime and coming out the other side with thanks to our Compass prison programme in Solas Project. It's a 11 minutes altogether and definitely worth a listen!

During the interview you will note that Anto mentions school which for many young people like him is a very negative experience when it comes to secondary and due to this plus other things, life becomes very difficult. All of our Compass participants would each state that their primary school experiences were great but that secondary school was a "nightmare". This learning is very helpful for us as we support these guys but also affords us very valuable information about the younger boys coming up and where we can best help them through their transition to secondary school.
